Hello! I’m Lyla Stern, a graphic designer and multi-media artist based in Chicago. I love crafting meaningful and impactful art that focuses on community building, theatre, and amplifying other artists’ voices.

As a recent graduate in graphic design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a minor in theatre, I bring over six years of experience in photography, videography, and editing along with a unique background in the performing arts. I’ve collaborated with student organizations, production companies, non-profits, other designers on promotional content, marketing campaigns, and brand identity development. I have been passionate about improving my design skills through hands-on practice over the past three years.

I am inspired by sustainability, mental health advocacy, and queer diversity. Physical art forms such as scrapbooking, bullet journaling, and film development are also an important part of my work. I thrive in collaborative environments where I can connect, learn, and create alongside others.
